My dentist had explained that saving my tooth would require what he described as a “heroic effort,” so after considering the options, I agreed that having it removed was the right course of action. I wasn’t exactly looking forward to an extraction and bone graft, but my experience with Summit Oral Surgery was outstanding from the lead-up, through the procedure itself, and into the follow-up.

Before the procedure, the team was incredibly friendly, helpful and reassuring. I felt well informed about what was going to happen and confident that I was in very capable hands. On the day itself, that continued. Dr. Charugundla and the team combined fantastic clinical expertise with warmth and kindness, explaining things clearly and making what could have been a fairly daunting experience feel remarkably straightforward and human.

I’ve been equally impressed by the follow-up. The team has been proactive about making sure my recovery is on track, provided clear and practical aftercare guidance, and made it genuinely easy to ask questions. I never had the feeling of being sent home after surgery and left to figure things out for myself.

What really stands out about Summit is the combination of expertise and humanity. They clearly know exactly what they’re doing, but they translate that knowledge into an experience that feels personal, accessible and genuinely caring.

Having a tooth extracted and a bone graft certainly wasn’t something I was looking forward to, but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Excellent care before, during and after the procedure. I would recommend Summit Oral Surgery without hesitation.
